You may have noticed that all of the product names in the Euromarc ELITE and CRAFTSMAN families include a 3 digit number….but why?  Read on and we'll explain...

So what's with the number names?

As part of our continuous product research, we found some of the frustrations kiwi engineers face are not just related to the performance of the products, but to re-ordering of the products. Basically, you’re all busy, and there are thousands of consumable product names to remember!

So we put our heads together, and came up with a new 3 digit naming system that’s EasyAs123 for re-ordering and quickly recognising products that fit within the same group (for example ELITE Wire Brushes will all be named with a 3 digit number starting with “6”, where ELITE Cutting Discs will have a number starting with “9”.)

Yes there is some science behind our EasyAs123 naming system

Lucky for us, various research over the years has proven using numbers in product names really does have benefits when it comes to memory re-call (we didn’t just make it all up and hope for the best). Just think about how you’d memorise a phone number – you’d usually break it into 3 or 4 digit blocks right? It’s also a lot easier to remember something that’s named after what the product is (for example ELITE Cut Glove 325) than it is to remember something like ELITE RazorSharp when you’ve got lots of product names to remember.

This EasyAs123 naming system is consistent across the entire Euromarc branded product range, with clear packaging to make it easy for you to re-order the right product every time. It also makes it easier for our warehouse team to pick and pack the products to allow for better order processing, and delivery on time, every time.
