What type of work are Warner Construction doing?

A bit of everything really, we get some good sized Stainless Steel jobs.

What was Warner previously using to clean their welds?

Always pickling paste, I had seen other machines work but they work so painfully slow over against pickling paste it was a waste of time.

Why did you look at different options?

Because of health and safety, some sites won’t let you use pickling paste any more. So were looking at options, and Euromarc offered to bring out a Cougartron ProPlus for a demo, and it all went from there!

What did you find? And why did you choose to use Cougartron ProPlus?

Once you have cleaned Stainless Steel with Cougartron the welds have the same finish as the surrounding stainless, with pickling paste it leaves a different finish on the Stainless so you blend it in using scotchbrite which leaves the stainless steel scratched. The welds came out nicer and it was quicker to use than pickling paste. I really like the polishing mode, on polished pipe going over the weld in polishing mode just blends it in perfect.
