Warren Auger Bins (NZ) Limited, Matamata - Success Story

‘We’ve gone from ordering when we need it, or doing weekly orders to having it available and keeping the guys working.'

We talk with Director, Bradley Scott, and Workshop Foreman, Sean Matthew at Warren Auger Bins about what's changed for them in getting QUICKSTOCK.

Tell us a bit about Warren Auger Bins

Warren Auger Bins was founded in 2012 by me and Scott Garlin. Started a business building feed trucks for the New Zealand market. We’ve now been going for nearly 10 years and produced nearly 100 feed trucks. We’re custom built to customer requirements, service and breakdown and just general transport fabrication. - Bradley Scott, Director

What were some of the challenges you had prior to getting QUICKSTOCK™?

Prior to QUICKSTOCK some of the challenges were having to order and then wait for the stock to arrive, or maybe going into town and using half an hour going to pick up the stuff you require. Having to order it before 4 o’clock to have the stock here for the following day and basically reactive rather than proactive. - Bradley Scott, Director

The challenges we had with not having the stock available when we needed it. Waiting for couriers to deliver stock. Boys coming and asking where the discs are. Not being able to just go and grab them all. - Sean Matthew, Workshop Foreman

What would you say has been the best thing about getting QUICKSTOCK™?

When someone just comes and interrupts me in my job, it takes me away from what I’m doing. The benefit of QUICKSTOCK is having all the stock we need, when we need it, like aluminium cutting discs, steel cutting discs, grinding flap wheels, grinding helmets, everything. I don’t have that interruption anymore. The boys just go straight to the cabinets and grab what they want and carry on with their job. - Sean Matthew, Workshop Foreman

How would you say QUICKSTOCK™ has improved your business?

We always have the stock on hand. We’ve gone from ordering when we need it, or doing weekly orders to having it available and keeping the guys working. It’s just a case of going to the cabinet and getting what you require.  - Bradley Scott, Director
